The Clock Tower was constructed in 2009 by the late Dr. Syed Muhammad Ali Shah, a renowned orthopedic surgeon, politician, and former chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board. Designed as an architectural landmark, the tower added a distinctive identity to the stadium and became a recognizable feature of North Nazimabad. In 2016, it was temporarily dismantled because it stood in the path of the Green Line Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) project, with authorities announcing that it would be rebuilt at a nearby location.
